Important information:

• The guaranteed seat costs CHF 8.00 per person and is added automatically as soon as you select a ticket.
  
  
• If you hold one of the following discounts, passes or cards, you only need to purchase the guaranteed seat for CHF 8.00 per person: Berner Oberland Pass, Lucerne Travel Pass, Camping Card Berner Oberland, Brienz Guest Card, FVP-Touristik-Zusatzkarte, SBB ticket, RailAway offer.
  
  
• SBB tickets (paper or app) and RailAway offers do not include a guaranteed seat and will not open our turnstiles. Please present your ticket together with your guaranteed seat at the ticket counter.
  
  
• If it is your birthday on the day of travel, you only need to purchase the guaranteed seat for CHF 8.00. You will receive your ticket at the ticket counter upon presentation of a valid ID.
  
  
• Brienz Rothorn Bahn vouchers (with QR code) can be redeemed when booking.
  
  
• The turnstile opens 30 minutes before departure. Seats are not numbered and can be chosen freely, so the earlier you arrive, the more choice you have.
  
  
• Our compartments seat eight people. When demand is high, we make full use of the available capacity.
  
  
• The guaranteed seat also applies to the return journey. Please be at Rothorn Kulm station no later than 15 minutes before departure.

Please note before booking: smoke and exhaust fumes in the tunnels, thinner air at over 2,200 m above sea level and, at times, loud noise. Guests with respiratory or cardiovascular conditions are advised to seek medical advice before travelling.
